About the Blog

Welcome to the blog of the Congregation Beth Emeth Religious School! This is a pilot project for the 2011-2012 school year. I’m very excited about the potential of this blog, and I hope that our families are as well.

Some of the things you can expect to see here are…

• Updates from teachers about what their classes have been doing
• Stellar student work (artwork, writings, etc.)
• News from parents about religious-school-related topics
• Quotes, trivia and maybe the occasional contest
• Photos from school

Scheduling news will still come from the CBE website calendar and from the Yahoo!Groups listserv (email Morah Mina if you don’t know about this listserv), but while the blog will contain items that are more fun, less time-sensitive.

Privacy on the Relschool Blog

• Students who contribute work or have a great success are identified as FirstName (grade).  Last names and personal information will not be used.
• Photos of children that contain identification will likewise list no information beyond first names and grade levels.
• As with all external media at CBE, parents who do not want their children’s photos released are welcome to fill out a Publicity Opt-Out Form and bring it to the office.
